For starters, tell me a little about yourself
I am a registered psychotherapist based in Ontario, Canada, and I have dedicated 20 years to practicing psychotherapy. With a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, I offer compassionate and understanding support to individuals in need. My expertise extends to various therapeutic approaches, allowing me to provide therapy in both English and Bangla, working with individuals and couples. I have a passion for working with teenagers and adults, helping them navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and schizophrenia.

In my patient-centered approach to therapy, I actively engage and build trust with individuals and couples, utilizing a diverse range of therapeutic techniques and interventions. With extensive training in approaches such as Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Relaxation, Solution-Focused-Brief Therapy, Trauma-informed therapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, By tailoring therapy to meet each client's unique needs, I empower them to achieve their goals and experience positive transformations in their lives.
What mental health concerns do you specialize in?
I specialize in providing support for individuals and couples facing a wide range of mental health concerns. My expertise lies in assisting patients with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia, adjustment difficulties, and relationship-related challenges.
What's the best compliment you have received while being a psychotherapist?
The best compliment I receive from my patients is that they feel comfortable and understood with me. They consider me as a place where they can talk about anything without the fear of judgment. It's incredibly rewarding to know that I've created an environment where individuals can open up and share their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without hesitation.
